Headline screams:

Deal holds lead in gov’s race

and then when you read the article, or perhaps do your own research, you find that Deal isn’t even leading in his own GOP primary.

Hey Republican-biased media! One could easily claim that “Barnes holds lead in gov’s race” by looking at the fact that Barnes leads in the hypothetical match-up against Eric Johnson, which is revealed in the latter part of the article. But that wouldn’t please your leader, would it?

In which we praise Icarus, as Rep. Deal has officially sent the letter to President Obama questioning his own birthright:

You have decided to go all in with “crazy” by deciding to question the legitimacy – in every way that word has meaning – of a sitting President.

You don’t want it to be news because you just want the World Net Daily readers to know that you’re really one of them. But you want the more mainstream voters to know you’re a normal mainstream establishment Republican.

We already have a candidate that has cornered the market on being all things to all people, and he was pulling as hard as he could for UGA to beat Michigan State on New Year’s day.

You’ve had a great career Rep. Deal. Save the dignity you have left and please get started on your retirement.

Well said. There is sadness in Deal’s actions.

Formerly, Deal was praised as one of the more reasonable members of the Georgia delegation. Sadly, no more.

You’re corrupt, you’re mindless, you’re spineless, and we don’t need your services anymore. Good day, sir.

Rush has been taken to a Hawaii hospital for chest pains.

We don’t wish him ill nor death.

We just wish him a healthy recovery and a re-dedication to the American Dream. And when he gets on the radio and spews his Palin-brand craziness, we’ll be around to call him on his bullsh*t.

Several days ago, Vice President Biden showed up at Impulse Manufacturing to announce $33 million in stimulus funds to create a broadband network in North Georgia.

Congressmen Deal and Broun were NOT in attendance, as they weren’t officially invited.

  • “Had Congressman Deal been invited to this event, he most certainly would have made every effort to attend. Unfortunately, he was not given this opportunity, and is disappointed by that fact,” says a Deal spokesperson.
  • Rep. Paul Broun, whose neighboring district will also be affected by Biden’s announcement of stimulus dollars going into broadband development, said that he had not been invited either.

Strange, as it was public knowledge several days prior. Certainly they could have made the visit without an official invite.

Also, Deal admits that Sonny Perdue’s made a call to him before the event- and the Governor himself made the trip.

More important: Deal and Broun both voted against the stimulus funds. Why would they even want to attend? So they can take a victory lap for legislation they abhor?

Jeezus, will this topic never end?

Here’s the deal Fetterman and Lutz.

  • Flowery Branch needed sewer provided to the three most exclusive neighborhoods in town. These are neighborhoods that you BOTH reside in.
  • Flowery Branch cannot provide the service due to the infrastructure requirements.
  • Only one entity CAN provide service to these neighborhoods– Hall County, which Fetterman acknowledged.
  • This makes sewer rates in these neighborhoods go up. Both of you wanted to negotiate with Hall County regarding the rates required, but you had no leverage. EVERYONE, including yourselves, knew that Hall County was your only option.
  • Hall County’s rates are predictably higher, and due to political posturing and an upcoming election, you both are trying to throw the Hall County Commission under the bus.

Look, I understand the political realities involved here. If you wish to make hay over this, let’s bring it on. The majority of South Hall does not want to pay for your sewer system. They will resent the fact that your toney neighborhoods are raising sewer rates across the board. Wanna get some class warfare going on? I’m game. But just recognize that it’d take about 100 letters placed to certain influential people (including some in your neighborhood) to make people think ya’ll are both hillbillies with no business sense.

And I can afford a hundred first-class stamps.

Pound on me as you like. Call me a crazy liberal and tarnish this site. It’ll bring increased hits, which is all I really care about anyway.

But recognize this- I’m not some dewey-eyed newbie, and we can be a factor in the upcoming commission election. Not sure which of you are running, but I can figure it out soon enough.

Despite your personal feelings, I don’t have a dog in this fight. I have no desire to work against either of you if you wish to run for higher office. Make your mark where you can. You wanna take on a bigger office? Go to it, fellas.

BUT- don’t piss off people who are indifferent.

Chris Fetterman really hates Spanish!

I really get pissed when I call a company on the phone and it says press two for Spanish. Now they want to force Spanish on the election ballots. Why? You are supposed to be an American citizen to vote and then you are supposed to understand basic English.

What does calling a company on the phone have to do with voter fraud? The mere suggestion that Spanish-speaking people might exist (and use the same companies that us English-speaking people do!) just boils Fetterman’s blood.

One thing that doesn’t boil his blood? That the entire Flowery Branch city council all live in the same neighborhood. That’s completely okay with him.

But Spanish.Makes.Fetterman.ANGRY.

Does this woman finish anything she starts?
