Blake Aued describes Phil Kent’s massive screw-up (watch the video in post below):

…Kent was speaking in the past tense because the show is taped on Friday. Deal’s lawyer, Randy Evans, had told him Friday that they’d be released Saturday, Kent said. They weren’t.

So, to sum up, not only did Kent assume that what Evans told him would actually come to pass and state it as fact, he claimed the returns “looked okay” when in fact he hadn’t seen them at all, he said Barnes wasn’t “saying anything” when he had no idea whether Barnes would or not, and he implied that another media outlet didn’t report on the nonexistent returns because it’s “liberal.”
