Some recent tweets from South Hall’s state representative below (my comments in red italics).

  • “Our community working together helped provide the wonderful “”Field of Dreams”” for the handicapped in Flowery Branch.” WSB-TV did a story about this waste of taxpayer money, but Mills doesn’t mention it. Not surprising.  Click for the story.
  • “The Hall County legislative delegation worked together to ensure funding to complete the Thurmond Tanner Parkway extension in Oakwood.” Mills never mentions the fact that his relatives own a home right off the Parkway, with fully functioning driveway access to the road. It’s the only house within miles that has access to that future thoroughfare. It increased the property values dramatically.
  • “The Hall County legislative delegation worked together to ensure funding to complete the Oakwood Exits 16 and 17.” Which made the property mentioned above MUCH more valuable – the property is between the two exits. A day later he tweeted this:
  • “Our government needs to tighten its belt and stop spending the people’s money as if it is an endless resource.” First he praises his ability to bring home the pork, now he says that government needs to tighten its belt.
  • “Property owners have been forced to carry way beyond their fair share of the tax burden.” Yet he voted to end the Homestead Tax Exemption which drove property taxes up 30% last year.

Tweet on, good sir. We look forward to your future musings! Read his full twitter feed here.
