From Ga Liberal:

A ruling on an ethics complaint regarding Sen. Ralph Hudgens (R-Hull) has been postponed by the State Ethics Commission. The meeting to decide on the complaint has been moved to the indefinite future.

The complaint alleges that Hudgens transferred leftover campaign money directly from his state senate account to the one for hisinsurance commissioner bid, in apparent violation of campaign law. The transfers include 126 donations totaling $106,600.21. The State Ethics Commission was expected to rule on the complaint this month. However, the meeting was postponed indefinitely- also affecting the ethics complaint of insurance Commissioner John Oxendine.

Here’s a link to an earlier story where Hudgens all but admits that he’s in the wrong. Yet, the Ethics Commission kicks the can down the road until after the election.
