A good reminder in the Times today not only of the duties of voters but of the local costs of voting.

Hall County pays abut $45,000 to ‘roll out the voting machines’ for each special or general election. Like the Times says, it would be a crime if this set of elections were decided by a few instead of the many. If the ‘many’ stay home, we will not have heard the ‘will’ or the voice of the people.

Vote whenever you can. In a democracy, it does make a differnce.
