Laura Bush is in the news today. She has a new book that talks about many things in her life including a fatal accident in November of 1963. Good for her. She also laments the dirty name calling in politics. Especially the damage done to her husband by Democrats.

No one knows better than political insiders about name calling. If only she speaks out about stopping it on both sides. Especially the doomsday predictions. Those are name calling taken to new depths.

So how do we educate voters to recognize propaganda? From the coffee experience yesterday, we can’t force anyone to act rational or learn. It sounds like we are discussing high school classroom behavior.

Laura Bush is a nice lady. She’s done nothing wrong in reporting the pain candidates feel. No one wants to hear it. Or do they?
