Don’t run as a Democrat.

And for damn sure don’t run as a traditional Republican.

Just run as a Republican who’s really an Independent, a member of the secret Society also known as the Tea Party, a supporter of the FairTax, an advocate for the gold standard, an auditor of the Fed, with a waterboard in your living room. And praise the late Senator Ted Kennedy as much as possible.

And never, ever call Curt Schilling an Yankees fan.
