For seven years, Perdue has been cutting education funds. While your State has been gutting your children, the Federal Government has been trying to sew them back together.

So far, the worst cuts have been avoided with the help of billions of dollars of federal stimulus money — including $135 billion for education and Medicaid says the Pew Foundation. That’s for all states.

Our State has seen an increase from $8 billion in federal dollars in 2002, to $11.6 billion in 2010. That’s not including stimulus money!

For those that follow the budget debate, Perdue says spending for education is the largest expense at $7.3 billion. Obama gives Perdue, Mills, Rogers, and Cagle $11.6 billion. Far more than they spend on education.
