Mr. Jackson died on June 25. His fans continue to mourn him. His musical critics still praise him as the King of Pop.

The King of Pop was killed by an overdose of drugs. Those drugs apparently given in an IV by a physician. I’m not really wanting to comment on murder by personal doctor. Or, demean Mr. Jackson or cheapen his life.

Mr. Jackson, like Elvis, like Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Steve McNair, Heath Ledger … and so many others, died too soon.

I will remember Michael Jackson as a young man. The young Michael Jackson in ‘Thriller.’

Like Elvis and Marilyn, the nature of Michael’s talent prevented him from having a normal and happy life. I hope his inner circle (not his family) suffers from the loss and forever regrets the missed chances for happiness.
