Let’s say your spouse thinks you’re cheating or having an affair. How many times can your head be bashed against a wall just to get at the truth?

The CIA has guidelines on head bashing or “walling.” A detainee being questioned “may be walled one time (one impact with the wall) to make a point or 20 to 30 times consecutively when the interrogator requires a more significant response to a question.”

However, make sure the wall is made out of plywood to prevent serious injuries.

For more guidelines from the CIA on how to get at the truth, read today’s story on CIA interrogation methods at this link or at the Washington Post, here.

But always remember, the “goal of interrogation is to create a state of learned helplessness and dependence.”

I always feel like that in Hall County, Georgia where Republicans hold every elected office.
